Introduction

Hajimemashite mina.
Hello everyone, my name is MWalters and this is my blog titled "Bokuwa Otaku" meaning from japanese 'I Otaku". Here I will be talking about Otaku news and culture enlightenment on this new blog. Different pastimes, aspects, views, news, within Otaku to show many sects within this group. Comments are open for everyone without restriction to your opinion for full stances and reasons. Good luck to everybody as well for success towards their own blogs for our web-course in efforts for completing a class hosted by CSN Cheyenne Las Vegas, Nevada.

This is will be an exciting time and experience hopefully for everyone along with myself. ^_^

  1. I had read a post not too long ago about why the anime girls are portrayed so innocently, with high voices, short skirts, etc. It had much to do with the Japanese culture; something our Western minds don't quite wrap around. I hope you can enlighten us in the future.

  3. I read the title, read the post, then looked at my list of 52 seasons worth of anime (and still growing) that I've watched..

I'll definitely be looking forward to reading more of your blog ^^

  4. Most of my children are into anime in some form or another. One of them has been very involved for years. Maybe you will help me understand the interest they have and give me one more thing I can discuss with them just long enough to see them roll their eyes and groan. I live for those "Oh Mom" moments.

  5. I honestly had to look up what Otaku and anime was. Now that I know you have peaked my interest. My husband seems to know much more than I do and that makes me wonder how that is also. Look forward to reading more.

  6. I watch Adult swim every night, but they took most of the anime off of there. Ghost in the shell was on last night. I waiting for the new full metal alchemist to be translated.

  7. @Eric

I use to watch that channel a couple years ago. Then I started getting into watching the subbed anime online. It's so nice hearing the authentic japanese voices instead of an american voice actor. sometimes

  8. Anime is very popular in my home country. It is dubbed in Tagalog for the kids to enjoy it more. It is not only seen on T.V. there but also in Komiks, kids' shirts, shoes, bags, toys etc. Anime was introduced in my country when I was still a young boy. The first Anime that I have seen and always watched is the "Voltez V" which is a the original transformer.
